New articles on new "NOCLAR" standards

I'm happy to report that the Journal of Accountancy recently published two (2) new articles on new ethics interpretations adopted earlier this year by the AICPA Professional Ethics Executive Committee (of which I am a member) entitled, "Responding to Noncompliance with Laws and Regulations" (NOCLAR). One article, NOCLAR: What CPAs in business should know, written by NOCLAR Task Force member, Elizabeth Pittelkow Kittner, discusses the requirement applicable to members in business. I wrote the other article, NOCLAR: What CPAs in public practice need to know, which discusses the requirements applicable to members in public practice. The articles provide concise summaries of the requirements, which go into effect June 30, 2023, but may also be applied earlier.
